GVCSS is pleased to announce that we have been named by Vancouver Coastal Health as the new service provider for Noble House effective January 25, 2020. We were selected as the successful bidder for this 3-year, $2.25 million contract that went to tender in the fall of 2019.

Noble House, also known as Stanley Noble Strong Housing Co-Operative, is a Vancouver-based housing co-operative. GVCSS is now providing supported housing services to 7 Noble House tenants with varying degrees of physical disability to support their personal care and independent living skills on a 24-hour / 7-day- a-week basis. All tenants are able to direct their own care and are considered partners in the program’s ‘shared care’ frame work.

We believe that GVCSS is uniquely qualified to successfully assume management of Noble House due to our collaborative client-centred care model and our extensive supported housing experience at Honoria Conway at St. Vincent’s, and Transitional Care Services and The Hub programs at St. Paul’s Hospital.

The GVCSS leadership team has ensured a smooth transition for Noble House’s tenants and staff. We are excited for this opportunity to grow GVCSS’ mission to support independence through client-focused community care services.

We are also pleased to announce that we are the successful surge providers for VCH’s Richmond Home Support operations until December 31, 2020.

We will be providing service up to 10,000 hours to Home Support clients.
