In her April 23rd briefing, Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry addressed COVID-19 safety for Home Support clients and workers.
Dr. Henry described the preventative measures workers are taking, such as hand washing and using Personal Protective Equipment like masks and gloves, to keep clients safe. She also discussed how Home Support is a more controlled environment and therefore safer than long-term care facilities.
