Greater Vancouver Community Services (GVCSS) is extremely proud and excited to announce the appointment of Kristie Clark as our new Director of Home Care.  Kristie is an experienced healthcare leader and clinical specialist within various practice settings including community health care, seniors care, public health, and nursing education/research. Her expertise in these areas include dementia care, gerontology, staff development and education, quality improvement and mental health.

Kristie’s education includes a Masters of Advanced Practice Nursing in Gerontology from the University of Western Ontario. She also holds a post graduate certificate in Not-For-Profit Health Care Administration and during her career has obtained her Canadian Nursing Association certification in Gerontological Nursing and Community Health Nursing. Kristie is passionate about client centred care and clinical practice.

GVCSS also extends deep gratitude and thanks to Melanie Mendonca, Director of Community Living, for providing strong leadership as the Acting Director to the Home Support department while we waited for Kristie’s arrival.
