LEARN ABOUT PRIVATE HOME CARE

 
GVCSS has provided contracted home support services to public health agencies since the 1970’s. We currently provide surge, or “back up”, home support services for VCH’s publicly-funded Home Support programs in Vancouver and Richmond. We also deliver contracted services to individuals referred to us by the Department of Veterans Affairs, WorkSafe BC, ICBC, Ministry of Child and Family Development, and Community Living British Columbia.

 

Services

  • personal care
  • medication assistance
  • assistance with mobilization and transfers
  • complex care including tube feedings, blood glucose monitoring, wound care, ostomy and tracheostomy care
  • palliative care
  • respite care
  • dementia care      
  • safety maintenance
